ABOUT THE PROJECT

Image editing, with a lighter touch.

Still Studio was born out of frustration with online image tools that are slow, demand account logins, bombard users with ads, and secretly upload sensitive personal photos to unknown servers.

100% Client-Side

Every pixel is processed directly by your computer or phone browser via HTML5 Canvas. No server ever touches your image.

Instant Results

No network delays, no upload progress bars, and no waiting in server queues. Processing happens in milliseconds.

Honest Measurements

We show actual byte sizes measured from real file encodings — never estimated percentages or exaggerated savings claims.

Our Philosophy

Most everyday image tasks don't require heavy desktop software like Photoshop or risky online tools that upload your files. Whether you are submitting a government passport form with strict 50 KB limits, sizing a profile photo for social media, or preparing images for a fast-loading website, Still Studio gives you clean, calm, accurate control.

Supported Workflows

  • Broad Format Support: Import JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP files. Export clean, optimized JPG, PNG, WebP, or single-page PDF.
  • Target File Size (KB/MB): Enter a strict ceiling (e.g. 20 KB or 100 KB) and Still Studio will automatically find the optimal quality and dimensions.
  • Multiple Units: Resize by exact Pixels, Percentage scaling, or physical Print dimensions (Centimetres or Inches with custom DPI metadata).
  • Batch Processing: Transform multiple images simultaneously and package them into a single local ZIP archive.

Open & Respectful

Still Studio does not track your browsing habits, does not require an account, and is free to use. Have feedback or want to request a feature? We'd love to hear from you on our Contact Page.
