PNG TO PDF
How to Convert PNG Images to One PDF Online
A PNG to PDF converter can put several images into one document, with one image on each page. Follow these steps to arrange the pages and choose a layout before you download.
Check the files before you start
Still Studio accepts PNG files only in this converter. You can add up to 20 images, with a limit of 40 MB per image and 160 MB total. Each image must also fit within the browser processing limits of 12,000 pixels per side and 80 megapixels.
If your files are JPG or WebP, use an image converter first or choose a tool that accepts those formats. Renaming a file extension does not change the image format.
Add images and set their reading order
Choose or drop the PNG files into the converter. Each accepted image becomes one page in the final PDF. Reorder the page list so the document reads in the right sequence, then remove any page you do not need.
For scanned notes or receipts, check the page order before creating the PDF. Filenames do not always match the order in which you want the pages to appear.
Choose page size, orientation and margins
Choose Fit to image when each PDF page should follow the image proportions. Choose A4 or US Letter when the destination expects a standard page. Set portrait or landscape orientation and choose a margin that leaves the amount of white space you need.
A standard page can have a different shape from its PNG. The image must be fitted to the page, so check that important content is not clipped or made too small.
Create and inspect the PDF
Create the PDF and save it. Open the downloaded document and check the page count, order, orientation and edges. Each page contains the PNG as an image; the converter does not run OCR, so words inside the picture are not selectable text.
Transparent areas in a PNG appear white in the PDF. If the background matters, flatten the image onto the color you want before conversion.
Know what happens to your files
Your selected PNG images are read and processed in the browser; they are not uploaded to Still Studio. When you choose to create a PDF, the page requests the jsPDF library from cdnjs. The image files themselves stay local, but the library request uses an internet connection.
