Still Studio is a free, browser-based toolkit for resizing, compressing, converting and combining images. It is built for everyday jobs where you need direct controls, a measured result and a clear account of how your files are handled.

WHAT MAKES IT USEFUL
A practical image workflow, without an account
Still Studio combines a free online image resizer, image compressor and format converter with separate tools for photo collages, PNG-to-PDF conversion and print sizing. You can open a tool, choose the settings for your task and download a new file without creating an account.
For a strict form limit, enter the requested pixel dimensions and KB target, then review the actual output size. For a photo crop, keep proportions locked or use Fit and Fill with a preview. For print, enter inches or centimetres and choose a DPI value to calculate the pixel dimensions.
The main image tool can also process multiple selected images as a batch and package the results into a ZIP file.

HOW FILES ARE HANDLED

Still Studio reads and processes selected image files in the browser. The image contents are not uploaded to Still Studio's processing server. The dedicated PNG-to-PDF tool requests the jsPDF library from cdnjs when you create a PDF. That request needs an internet connection and sends standard request details, such as your IP address and browser information, to the CDN; your PNG images remain on your device. For a form, passport or government application, Still Studio can resize a file to the stated limits, but it cannot certify that a photo meets the authority's rules. Check the current instructions before submitting.
A GOOD FIT, AND ITS LIMITS
Made for everyday image tasks
Still Studio is a good fit when you need a specific image size, smaller file, different format, simple collage or image-based PDF. It is not a full photo-retouching or layout-design suite: it does not offer layers, object removal, OCR for text inside images, or certification for official photo rules.
Large images use your device's memory and processing power, so speed depends on the browser and device. Keep an original copy if you may need another crop or export later.

Is Still Studio free to use?
Yes. The image tools are free to use and do not require an account.
Are my image files uploaded?
Image files are processed in your browser and are not sent to Still Studio's processing server. Creating a PDF requests the jsPDF library from cdnjs, but the PNG images stay on your device.
Can Still Studio make a photo meet an official form's rules?
It can set dimensions and file size to the values you enter. It cannot certify compliance. Check the current rules from the organization receiving the photo.
Does Still Studio keep animated GIFs animated?
No. GIF input can be processed as a still image, but the exported image does not retain the original animation.
